When Facebook banned the sale of weapons, including airsoft, we decided to do our part by trying to build "Sweden’s largest secondhand marketplace for Airsoft." A platform that isn’t hidden behind login walls or private forums—a place where anyone can turn to find what they’re looking for.

The idea came about when Facebook prohibited the sale of weapons and thus airsoft. One by one, all the previous Facebook groups started to fade away and became increasingly inactive. The sites and forums that still offered airsoft trading were always hidden behind forums or other login barriers. The result was a fragmented audience and potential goods scattered all over the web.

We noticed there was a strong demand for a simple, mobile-friendly buy and sell platform focused solely on trading. That’s why Dustyguns is fully optimized for mobile and works just as well on a smartphone as on a large computer screen.
